Preliminary Task: Planning

For the planning stage of our preliminary task we split the task of analyzing each shot of the original music video into 20 seconds each. I was tasked with the first 20 seconds.

The planning concluded with our group watching the first 60 seconds repeatedly until everyone had a clear understanding of each shot and what they would be required to do. To meet the brief's requirements we all had to lip sync at least one line of the vocals each. Matt was left to mouth Liam's lines whilst Ciaran represented Zayn's lines. I had to be present for a shot including Liam, taking Matt's place in order to meet the criteria. Although we all mouthed different members of the band's lines we all had to represent them all between the three of us so we all ended up playing several different members; for example I can be seen playing the guitar as Nial as well as adjusting the desk as Harry in another shot.
